Any throws area needs to keep disci and hammers inside while keeping outsiders safe. And these hammer-discus cages are designed with the utmost safety in mind. Main safety net is secured on inside of cage, preventing flying implements from striking framework. All cages meet and/or exceed NCAA and/or IAAF rule specifications. Optional backup net available to be installed outside cage to keep people away from potential “danger zone” near main safety net
Dual swinging gates give flexibility of narrowing throwing area for hammer event and meets NCAA rule specifications- accommodates right-handed or left-handed throwers
Hammer Gate Wheel Locks anchor left, right or both gates in position to avoid accidental movement
EH model cage gates are fabricated of heavy-duty 6" diameter structural aluminum pivot posts with internal structural steel reinforcements and a completely welded 4" square structural aluminum frame
Special “cable-frame” design on outer vertical gate edge to eliminate the framework in the area most frequently struck
Includes aluminum ground sleeves with synthetic caps
