Gill Countdown Timer/Wind Indicator

A truly versatile display. For jumping events, it is a countdown timer with all the various times (5 min, 3 min, 2 min, 90 sec, 60 sec) programmed and labeled for quick selection. The amber beacon starts flashing with 15 seconds remaining in accordance with IAAF/USATF rules. Timer will accept Lynx type input including scrolling data. When used for the pole vault, long jump and triple jump, this timer can be connected to a Gill Ultrasonic Wind Gauge, and the wind reading flashed at 10 second intervals. Units may also be set to give continuous wind readings if you take out the scrolling data line. Timer can also be used as an elapsed time clock for cross country, road races and at the track. Countdown can be set for durations up to 99 minutes. Digits are 6" x 3". Includes tripod, 120V adapter plug and 9V battery. Units can be connected to external battery if needed. Sun shield and rain guard are included with new purchases.
