Inspired by world-class sprinters, this is Nike’s lightest current sprint spike. Designed for events ranging from 200m-800m. Ideal if you’re a serious sprinter who craves the ultimate in lightweight and flexibility. Updates from the original Maxcat include:
• Lighter, more breathable upper
• More aggressive plate for great power transfer
• Carbon fiber shank for improved lift and snap off the track
Upper: Lightweight synthetic leather overlays provide great lockdown over the footbed for a snug, secure fit and optimal power transfer. Lightweight mesh enhances ventilation for comfort and breathability.
Midsole: Low-profile Phylon midsole wedge provides cushioning while keeping the shoe light and low to the ground. Carbon fiber midfoot shank provides support through
midstance.
Outsole: Flexible Pebax three-fingered plate allows for a more natural range of motion and a great feel of the track for optimal performance without added weight. Removable, five-pin spike configuration provides excellent traction on track surfaces.
